KUALA LUMPUR: It is half past noon as I step into the Viva Vertical Stage pole dancing studio in Wisma Heritage in Kuala Lumpur.
The ambiance is cosy, with a few women practising their moves on the poles while others, such as 37-year-old Munira Yusoff engage in chit-chat as they cool down from their exercises.
A sub-editor with a local daily, Munira was roped in by her friend to take up pole dancing in 2009.... (suite)
